Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an Associate Production Team Lead in Tallahassee, FL to guide daily production activities and drive safety, quality, and productivity on the shop floor. You will coach and develop team members, lead problem-solving efforts, and ensure compliance with production standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, collaboration across shifts, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to meet customer expectations and operational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience in a production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members while fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience identifying issues, implementing solutions, and driving continuous improvement.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily production activities to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
• Coach, train, and develop team members through hands-on leadership, performance feedback, cross-training, and continuous skill development.
• Facilitate root cause problem solving, drive corrective actions, and champion continuous improvement initiatives using established operational tools and processes.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and process compliance, taking proactive action to remove obstacles and improve operational performance.
• Partner with supervisors, support teams, and employees to drive engagement, teamwork, 5S activities, and a culture of ownership and accountability.
