nVent is seeking a Production Supervisor for an on-site role in Blaine, MN. You will lead a production team, direct daily activities, and mentor staff while deploying Lean to reduce waste and improve performance. This role emphasizes safety, payroll administration, and supporting new processes and product developments.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in manufacturing leadership and 2+ years in Lean manufacturing, with a focus on continuous improvement and staying compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ideal 3+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
• Ideally 2+ years Lean manufacturing experience with ability to apply Lean concepts.

Responsabilités

• Directly lead production employees, including training and performance reviews.
• Manage day-to-day production activities to meet commitments while pursuing improvements.
• Utilize process boards to monitor daily performance and communicate status.
• Act as a change agent to drive out waste using Lean methodologies.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and support safety programs.
• Review payroll hours weekly and handle exception hours as needed.
• Support new process and product development and implementation.
• Develop and fulfill key improvement projects as needed.
