Job summary

nVent is seeking a 2nd shift leader at its Anoka, MN facility to guide production within the Value Stream, drive Lean initiatives, and mentor a team of manufacturing staff. You will ensure safety, support staffing and performance reviews, and coordinate with HR on employee relations while delivering on commitments.

Responsibilities include directing daily production activities, reviewing payroll hours, and supporting new process development.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year direct leadership experience.
• 2+ years of Lean manufacturing experience with ability to apply Lean concepts.
• Able to work in an office and production environment and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead production employees in assigned value stream; train, direct, and mentor on performance.
• Manage day-to-day production activities to meet current commitments while driving improvements.
• Review payroll hours weekly and input exception hours as needed.
• Support new process and product development and implementation.
