Job summary

nVent in Blaine, MN is seeking a Production Planning Manager to elevate the planning function and build cross-functional partnerships with operations, supply chain, engineering, and product management.

You will lead a team of planning analysts, drive Lean transformations, and align the production schedule with customer objectives while advancing data‑driven decision making and site performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 7+ years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in production planning, scheduling, or master scheduling.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams is highly preferred.
• Experience driving organizational change and process transformation initiatives.
• CPIM Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a growing team of production planning analysts.
• Establish cross-functional partnerships with operations, supply chain, engineering, lean, SIOP, and product/program management.
• Drive strategy development and execution for the production planning function.
• Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of production schedules with cross-functional partners.
• Lead Lean transformation initiatives and optimize ERP utilization.
• Strengthen analytics and reporting to drive data-informed decisions.
• Champion change leadership across the planning organization.
