Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in a real-world setting within our Rockwall, TX CVS Pharmacy. You will work under a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap, gaining experience in prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, and allergy to immunization support.

This on-site, part-time internship emphasizes SOP adherence, collaborative teamwork, and hands-on pharmacy operations across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and phone

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure as required.
• Immunization certification preferred.
• 1+ year of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and workflows at all workstation to maintain patient safety.
• Counsel patients, answer questions and assist with immunizations when trained.
• Assist in inventory tasks, order processing, and cycle counts as directed.
• Travel across market stores to support scheduling needs when required.
