Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing for a growing client base. You will handle scheduled and off-cycle payrolls and ensure data accuracy.

The role requires strong Excel and Outlook skills, excellent time management, and the ability to collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations while maintaining confidentiality.

This onsite role offers a professional office environment and opportunities to grow within a large, private HR technology provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in Customer Service.
• Payroll experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn other applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day payroll processing support for scheduled and off-cycle payrolls.
• Import or manually enter payroll changes (hours, updates, earnings, deductions, tax overrides).
• Calculate payroll and verify accuracy of client-provided data.
• Respond to client inquiries via email, cases, and phones.
• Partner with Payroll Supervisors on special projects to support clients.
• Manage and support assigned book of business.
