Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative for our Aston, PA physical therapy clinic. This full-time, on-site role focuses on welcoming patients, check-in/out, insurance verification, scheduling, and payment collection.

You will balance front desk duties with HIPAA-compliant confidentiality, EMR documentation, and cooperation with MAs and providers. We offer strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1–2 years in patient registration or front office in healthcare preferred.
• Experience with insurance rules, EMR systems, and HIPAA guidelines desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, manage check-in/check-out efficiently.
• Verify insurance, collect demographics and referrals as needed.
• Collect co-pays and balances; explain financial responsibilities clearly.
• Schedule follow-ups and coordinate authorizations/referrals.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and HIPAA compliance.
