Job summary

EAR NOSE AND THROAT CONSULTANTS PC in Southfield, MI is seeking a Patient Communications Team Member (PCT) to be the first point of contact for our patients. You will handle scheduling, manage a high volume of calls, and ensure accurate data entry in a fast-paced clinical setting.

This on-site role requires strong telephone and verbal communication, active listening, attention to detail, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach to support our Perfect Patient Journey.

Qualifications

• Team player with a compassionate approach to patient service.
• Strong telephone and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience with medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and comfortable using two monitors.
• On-site presence required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients appointments
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow communication “scripts” when handling various patient needs.
• Identify patients’ needs, clarify information, and troubleshoot patient inquiries.
• Build sustainable relationships and engage patients by being patient and thorough.
• Maintain records of all conversations in Call Center Database in an understandable manner.
• This job requires on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
