Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required.
• Three (3) years experience within Patient Access of Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• Three (3) years utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge in medical billing codes.
• One (1) year knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival processes for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete demographic and insurance information and collect patient liability at time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned accounts.
• Greet patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner and document information accurately.
