Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Health in Texas seeks a Patient Admissions Coordinator to support on-site registration and arrival for both scheduled and unscheduled visits.

You will collect demographic and insurance data and complete financial clearance with accuracy and compliance. Reporting to PAS leadership, you will greet patients professionally, assist the care team, and use Epic-related tools to verify eligibility, CPT/ICD coding, and basic medical terminology in a full-time day shift on-site at

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required.
• 3 years in Patient Access or business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years handling medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and medical terminology.
• 1 year knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete financial clearance functions and collect demographics, insurance, and patient liability.
• Greet patients professionally and ensure accurate, compliant information is documented.
