Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Parts/Inventory Clerk to support project site equipment maintenance by managing parts inventory, shipping/receiving, and transportation. You will assist field mechanics and project teams, pull and issue parts, inspect and stock incoming items, and coordinate deliveries to meet schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 5 years of parts/equipment knowledge, strong communication, ability to multi-task, and a safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of parts and/or equipment knowledge.
• Equipment knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide parts support to the field mechanic and job site.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain accurate inventory records at the job site.
• Pull requested parts from inventory and issue parts to mechanics and project teams.
• Receive, inspect, unload and stock incoming parts, materials, and supplies.
• Coordinate and expeditate shipping and receiving activities to meet project and maintenance schedules.
• Safely operate a company vehicle/truck to transport parts between company locations, project sites, and vendor facilities as needed.
• Communicate with vendors, mechanics, project personnel, and internal customers regarding parts availability and delivery timelines.
• Keep work area clean and presentable
• Answer and make phone calls that deal with parts orders
• Inform Parts Manager of any parts issues
