Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking a Parts Clerk to support project site equipment maintenance by managing parts inventory, receiving parts, and coordinating shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 5 years of parts or equipment knowledge, and strong communication skills to work with vendors, mechanics, and project teams on delivery timelines.

Proficiency with Viewpoint and Microsoft Office is preferred, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds is

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of parts and/or equipment knowledge.
• Equipment knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide parts support to the field mechanic and job site.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain accurate inventory records at the job site.
• Pull requested parts from inventory and issue parts to mechanics and project teams.
• Receive, inspect, unload and stock incoming parts, materials, and supplies.
• Coordinate and expediate shipping and receiving activities to meet project and maintenance schedules.
• Safely operate a company vehicle/truck to transport parts between company locations, project sites, and vendor facilities as needed.
• Communicate with vendors, mechanics, project personnel, and internal customers regarding parts availability and delivery timelines.
• Keep work area clean and presentable.
• Answer and make phone calls that deal with parts orders.
• Inform Parts Manager of any parts issues.
