Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Resident Service Engineer in New Jersey to install, maintain and support Packsize equipment at a key customer site. You will manage parts, inventory, and train customer personnel while building strong relationships.

This on-site role requires troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration with R&D, software, and QA teams, and travel as needed. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts and inventory management.
• Proficiency with inventory software and Office tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams.
• Receive incoming parts and verify their quality and quantity.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of parts transactions.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of parts and supplies.
• Analyze customer KPIs to identify machine issues and perform maintenance.
• Performs installation of new equipment and train Customer Personnel.
• Travels within assigned geography; overnight travel may be required.
• Completes basic administration duties (emails, assigned tasks).
