Job summary

Packsize International is seeking a Resident Service Engineer in New Jersey to install, maintain and support equipment at a key customer site. You will manage parts inventory, ensure documentation, and build strong customer relationships while delivering 5‑star service.

Ideal candidates bring advanced mechanical skills, troubleshooting expertise, and experience with inventory software. Travel within the geography and training courses are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience with parts and inventory management in a manufacturing or packaging setting.
• Ability to use inventory software and basic MS Office tools.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Advanced mechanical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production environment.
• Associate degree or vocational training is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and support Packsize equipment at a key customer site.
• Receive parts, verify quality and document transactions.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of parts and supplies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and train customer personnel.
• Analyze KPI data to identify performance issues and solve problems.
• Travel within the assigned geography; overnight travel may be required.
