Job summary

Packsize is seeking a highly skilled Resident Service Engineer for the Logan, NJ area, working on-site to install, service, and maintain Packsize equipment at a key customer site. This role emphasizes proactive customer engagement, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration to sustain optimal performance.

You will manage parts, perform preventive maintenance, and develop relationships to ensure 5-Star service.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts and inventory management.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and tools.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic Excel and Word skills.
• Knowledge of Windows platforms.
• Advanced mechanical skills.
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities using drawings and specs.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good mobility: walk, climb, stand, reach, and climb ladders.
• Strong independent judgment and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support Packsize equipment on-site at customer locations.
• Manage parts and inventory within the warehouse.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through proactive service.
• Provide 5-Star customer service and proactive visits/calls to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
