Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists in providing high-quality patient care. You will perform pre-testing, assist with specialty diagnostics, and help manage the doctor’s schedule for an efficient patient experience.

You will document medical findings in EHR, ensure HIPAA compliance, and coordinate referrals. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site clinic in Fond du Lac, WI.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams
• Familiar with medical terms associated with eye treatment
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT)

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-testing procedures and assist with specialty diagnostic testing
• Manage doctor’s appointment schedule for efficient patient flow
• Document findings in EHR and maintain HIPAA compliance
