Job summary

Manitou Group is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our Belvidere, IL site. This role directs daily shipping operations, staffing, and safety programs during 2nd shift (10am-7pm), ensuring on-time customer order fulfillment and adherence to 5S standards.

You will lead a small team, coordinate with distribution and technology teams, and drive continuous improvement through Lean practices while managing inventory, quality control, and documentation for exports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading a team within a Manufacturing or Distribution facility.
• Experience with Barcode Scanning System/handhelds preferred.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• Forklift Certification preferred (order picker, reach truck) – must pass forklift certification test.
• Must have strong communication and coaching skills.
• Computer skills including Google Suite, reporting and data entry.
• Learn Lean Philosophy and participate in Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily workforce allocation.
• Understand barcode scanning system processes and provide training as needed.
• Manage team performance and coach as needed.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain, inventory and order processes in the Reflex System.
• Ensure inventory and quality control standards are followed.
• Maintain 5S standards and contribute to 5S program development.
• Participate in budget preparation and capex projects.
• Coordinate with Parts Distribution, Technology, and Projects Manager.
• Manage warehouse supplies and safety equipment; monitor safety program.
