Job summary

WIDMYER CORPORATION is seeking a Multifamily Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for two residential communities, ensuring high occupancy, tenant satisfaction, and well-maintained properties.

The role includes managing leasing activities, supervising on-site staff, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing laws. On-site presence is required with occasional after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven experience in property management, preferably multifamily.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage).
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws and fair housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy.
• Approve rental applications, manage leases, and coordinate move-ins/outs.
• Market the properties via online platforms, signage, and local outreach.
• Maintain positive tenant relations and promptly address concerns.
• Enforce lease terms and community rules; manage resident communications.
• Coordinate maintenance and property upkeep; conduct regular inspections.
• Prepare and manage operating budgets; monitor expenses and invoices.
• Supervise on-site staff including leasing agents and maintenance personnel.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (Fair Housing).
• Maintain accurate records and submit required reports to ownership/management.
