Job summary

WIDMYER CORPORATION is seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Property Manager to oversee a 66-unit LIHTC apartment community. You will manage leasing, resident relations, compliance, budgeting, and maintenance coordination to ensure a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment.

The role requires organizing and balancing resident services with regulatory requirements, preserving occupancy, and maintaining audit-ready resident files. Prior affordable housing experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous property management experience required; affordable housing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant practices.
• Working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, HOME, or other affordable housing programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the property, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, collections, and administrative functions.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs and relevant requirements.
• Oversee applicant eligibility, certifications, annual and interim recertifications, income verification, and required documentation.
• Market available units, process applications, conduct move-ins/outs, and maintain occupancy.
