Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related fields are highly beneficial.
• Experience leading or mentoring maintenance teams and ability to prioritize tasks and manage work orders efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and building codes for safe residential maintenance.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment; familiarity with property management software or work order systems.
• Excellent communication and a customer-service mindset when interacting with residents, team members, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations of a multifamily community.
• Coordinate, assign, and perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks; inspect and repair building systems, units, grounds, and common areas.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues; manage and track work orders; ensure preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate vendors, manage inventory of supplies/equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance to maintenance team members, support onboarding and training, and collaborate with property management to deliver a high-quality resident experience.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
