Job summary

RPM Living is hiring an Assistant Maintenance Manager to maintain assigned communities on-site and step in for the Maintenance Manager when needed. You will manage work orders, perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more, and ensure safety compliance and resident satisfaction.

Strong candidates have a high school diploma or GED, EPA certification, and at least 1 year in multifamily maintenance; CPO is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED – preferred
• One year of multifamily maintenance experience or training
• EPA certification required
• CPO – preferred
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and respond to emergency on-call maintenance assignments promptly
• Complete work orders within 24-48 hours and update records
• Document maintenance activities and communicate with residents and team
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more
• Perform sheetrock repairs and maintain safety and compliance
• Suggest preventive maintenance to uphold property quality
