Job summary

Blaze Credit Union in Falcon Heights, MN seeks a Mortgage Loan Assistant to support Mortgage Loan Officers in daily processing and file management at our Larpenteur Administrative office.

You will assign incoming mortgage applications, follow up on pre-approval pipelines, manage folders, review purchase agreements, and coordinate referrals while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of Encompass a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assign all incoming mortgage applications daily.
• Follow-up on pre-approval pipeline for Loan Officers on a weekly basis
• Manage Mortgage Loan Officer’s prospect, pending and pre-purchase folders daily
• Assist Mortgage Loan Officer with purchase agreement review
• Manage Mortgage Sales referrals and assign to appropriate employee.
• Manage the incoming and outgoing daily mail for Loan Officers
• Scan and upload incoming docs from members to Encompass.
• Manage all incoming faxes and emails for Mortgage Sales.
