Job summary

Australia-Employment in the Birmingham, AL area is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple modular construction projects within a Design-Manufacture-Construct model. This role owns project scope, budgets, and stakeholder communication, ensuring delivery to schedule and client expectations.

You will manage client and vendor relations, drive P&L outcomes, and mentor PMs while working on-site at least four days per week with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• Management of execution of multiple projects totaling up to $20M in actively managed revenue.
• Deep understanding of Design-Manufacture-Construct methodology and principles.
• Ownership of client, vendor, and internal communication across all assigned projects.
• Ownership of project finances and P&L, including presenting to executive leadership.
• Financial and schedule oversight across multiple projects in different phases.

Responsibilities

• Own schedule, financial, and client satisfaction outcomes on all assigned projects, holding each to its own commitments.
• Set the execution standard for PMs and APMs across schedules, logs, change management, and client communication.
• Assign and sequence work across PMs and APMs supporting projects.
• Lead schedule risk management across the portfolio and resolve resource conflicts.
• Own project finances and P&L, approve forecast positions, present results and recovery plans.
• Own buyout strategy and approve subcontractor and vendor awards.
• Negotiate, review, and execute subcontracts and Owner Change Orders; resolve disputes.
• Manage client expectations and represent the program in front of leadership.
• Provide safety and quality leadership; have authority to halt work for safety/quality issues.
• Mentor PMs and APMs, hold them accountable for outcomes.
• Support adoption of new tools to improve efficiency.
