Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Modal Test Engineer to coordinate and execute product development testing at our Greenville Technology Lab in Greenville, SC. This is a 100% on-site role focusing on shaker, LDV, and ping testing from fixture design to test execution and reporting.

You will develop test campaigns from customer requirements, select instrumentation, design fixtures, collect data, and deliver results while maintaining ISO/EHS compliance and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in modal testing or structural design/analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory testing, data acquisition, and reporting for gas turbine product validation.
• Design and procure test fixtures to adapt existing rigs for hardware testing.
• Define and interpret customer requirements to design testing campaigns.
• Coordinate testing activities and report results to customers; mentor junior staff as needed.
• Ensure ISO compliance and EHS policies; maintain a safe work environment.
• Support LEAN process improvements and maintain regulatory compliance.
