Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II for an on-site role at customer locations. You will perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and other duties under supervision of a Senior Technician.

We require a HS diploma or GED with 3+ years in a related field; ASE T8 (PMI) and ASE 608/609 within 18 months; 21+ years old with a valid license. Safety, documentation, and timely repairs are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years’ related field experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within eighteen (18) months.
• Must obtain ASE 608/609 within eighteen (18) months.
• Must be 21 years or older with valid driver’s license.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair trailer systems at customer sites.
• Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck operations.
• Document work on RO using TRAIT app.
• Follow safety policies and comply with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
