Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service fleets at customer sites across Georgia. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, with a company-provided service truck and full set of top-tier tools.

You'll work independently in the field, handle emergencies, use mobile apps for documentation, and communicate clearly with drivers and customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication with customers and drivers; comfortable with mobile apps and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems to keep fleets running smoothly.
• Use handheld computers and precision tools to identify and fix issues quickly.
