Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. This field-based role offers independence, a company service truck, and a path to grow with a fast-moving national fleet maintenance provider.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools, and respond to emergency roadside calls.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors, independently, and in customer yards.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections in a mobile field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and air systems.
• Respond to emergency road service calls and dispatch requests.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
• Utilize hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices.
