Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a field-based role. You will operate a company service truck, use advanced tools, and deliver safe, reliable fleet service directly at customer sites.

This role requires 3+ years of hands-on diesel tech experience, experience with DOT inspections and air brake repair, and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience working on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Own hand tools and be ready to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks.
• Handle emergency road service calls and dispatch requests.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Use handheld computers and tools to document repairs.
