Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in mobile field environments. You will work with a company-provided service truck, top-tier tools, and a supportive team that values skill and dedication.

Requirements include at least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience, DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.

Responsibilities

Perform onsite preventative maintenance and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
Handle emergency road service calls with urgency.
Respond to dispatch requests for service or maintenance.
Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
Use handheld computers and precision instruments to identify and fix issues quickly.
Test road performance to ensure repairs meet standards.
