Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs using a company service truck and advanced tools.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years diesel tech experience, DOT inspection skills, and excellent communication with customers and drivers. This field-based role requires independence and safety-first work habits across outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on diesel tech experience working on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication with customers and drivers.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools.
• Ready for outdoors – work in customer yards in all weather.
• Own your hand tools; company provides rest of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, inspections, and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Handle emergency roadside service with urgency and professionalism.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use handheld diagnostics tools and precision instruments to identify issues.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Work with vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.
• Maintain safety compliance with pre- and post-trip inspections.
