Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to maintain our fleet and service trucks at client locations. You will provide exceptional customer service while performing cleaning, maintenance, inspections, and component replacements according to manuals and procedures.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues with diagnostic equipment, performing repairs, managing tools and inventory, and documenting work in the company system. CDL and Medical Card are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current and valid CDL and Medical Card as required by FMCSA.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of trucks including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform daily assigned duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and have an open work schedule.
