Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to maintain client fleets and perform on-site service calls at customer locations. You will diagnose, repair, and service trucks and equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability is a must.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE certifications are preferred & rewarded

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and follow daily duties.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.
