Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to maintain client fleet equipment and respond to service calls on-site at customer locations. The role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, with a focus on safety and efficiency while supporting after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current and valid driver's license with insurability per company policy.
• CDL and Medical card as required by FMVSS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment per company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on trucks at client locations.
• Manage service truck inventory and keep vehicle stocked.
• Read job orders and plan procedures; diagnose using diagnostic equipment.
• Provide after-hours service and be available for an open work schedule.
