Job summary

CoVolt Power is a leading utility-scale EPC company focusing on solar, battery energy storage, and high-voltage infrastructure. A Mechanical Project professional is needed to assist the Project Management team in managing the mechanical scope of the project.

You will help ensure construction aligns with the owner’s contract and specifications while supporting safety and quality on site. You will read plans, inspect work with subcontractors, verify safety and design requirements, and guide crews

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the solar industry.

Responsibilities

• Champion CORE Principles daily.
• Read and interpret specifications and plans for all mechanical aspects of the project.
• Examine and inspect mechanical work along with meeting with sub-contractors to ensure satisfactory job progress.
• Verifying safety and design specifications are met.
• Directs mechanical personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
• Support project, construction management with planning, and utilization of proper means and methods for mechanical activities.
• Analyze situations, identify, and forecast pertinent problems while evaluating realistic options, and recommend/implement appropriate course of action.
• Ensuring all reports and records are complete in an accurate and timely manner.
• Flexible and adaptable with working schedule in order to support project needs.
• Conducting and participating in safety meetings.
