Job summary

CoVolt Power is a leading utility-scale EPC specializing in solar, battery energy storage, and high voltage infrastructure. We seek an experienced supervisor to lead mechanical crews on outdoor projects, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and coordinate equipment and resources across job sites.

The role requires 5+ years in solar construction, strong supervision, and the ability to work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in solar or related construction experience.
• Proficiency in written/spoken English; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate clock in/out of assigned team members.
• Complete and submit daily to Superintendent the Foreman Daily Report.
• Oversee multiple mechanical construction activities (e.g., string line, tracker shakeout, installation of slew gear, module QA/QC).
• Set and oversee production goals and daily production tracking.
• Assist in lay out of work for crews and preplan daily activities to meet schedule.
• Monitor quality control of work in place by craft workers.
• Coordinate equipment needs and ensure operators are qualified; maintain equipment.
• Support jobsite superintendent to coordinate activities across the project.
• Identify improvement opportunities and promote safety culture.
• Read and interpret specifications and plans for mechanical work.
