Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field Construction Manager to oversee electrical scope on utility-scale solar and battery storage projects in the United States. This field-based role reports to the Construction Manager and collaborates with the project team, subcontractors, and owners to ensure work aligns with contract requirements.

You will plan daily activities, supervise subcontractors, manage documentation, participate in pre-bid and buyout, and drive quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years construction management experience on large utility, solar or wind energy projects.
• Experience managing electrical scope for utility-scale solar projects.
• Experience with union and open shop site construction.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply IFC drawings and job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for CoVolt Power policies and core principles with project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Estimating during pre-bid and buyout stages.
• Supervise subs involved with electrical scope and build accountable relationships.
• Plan daily activities, maintain site trailer, and generate daily photos/reports.
• Resolve issues via face-to-face communication and on-site problem-solving.
• Move safely on construction sites, including working at height and lifting up to 40 pounds when required.
