Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based Electrical Superintendent to lead the electrical team on utility-scale solar, BESS, and high-voltage projects. You will ensure construction aligns with the owner's contract and the project schedule.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical theory, NEC standards, and safety practices; you will mentor staff, review drawings, and coordinate material delivery to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical theory and NEC standards.
• Experience with means and methods of electrical activities including trenching and equipment install.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, arc flash, LOTO) for construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team of electrical superintendents.
• Supervise activities to keep the electrical subcontractors on schedule.
• Track and report progress with daily updates to project team and owner.
• Review drawings and ensure construction aligns with approved design.
• Coordinate material delivery and address potential delays.
• Promote safety culture with subcontractors on site.
• Review and sign off on permits and electrical work procedures.
