Job summary

Orion is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our on-site marine and heavy civil construction operations across the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. You will work with the Project Management Team to ensure profitability and timely completion of projects, coordinating with Superintendents, Foremen, and field staff.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Science with 4+ years of experience, ability to travel, and a strong focus on safety, cost control, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering/Construction Science with 4+ years experience or equivalent.
• Experience in marine/heavy civil/self-perform construction preferred.
• Knowledge of project management, procurement, scheduling and safety.

Responsibilities

• Works with PM Team to ensure successful, profitable completion of projects.
• Provides project management guidance to Superintendents and Foremen on marine projects.
• Plans and coordinates self-perform marine and heavy civil activities, labor, equipment & materials.
• Assists in bid proposals and cost estimation for upcoming projects.
