Job summary

Orion is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Management Team on self-perform marine and heavy civil projects in the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. This on-site role requires collaboration with superintendents, foremen, and customers to ensure safe, on-time, and profitable project completion.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering/Construction Science with 4+ years of experience and is willing to travel frequently for project needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Science or related discipline and at least 4 years of experience.
• Experience in marine/heavy civil/self-perform construction is preferred.
• Ability to travel across the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Management Team to ensure successful project completion and profitability.
• Provide oversight to Superintendents and Foremen on current marine projects.
• Coordinate with field leadership on labor, equipment, materials, schedules, and requirements.
• Assist in development of bid proposals and ensure timely submission.
