Job summary

Bel Fuse Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Support Technician (On-Site) to help keep production running efficiently.

The role involves developing work instructions and visual aids for assembly, coordinating with operators and engineering to set standards for inspection and testing, and supporting cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualified candidates have 1–3 years of manufacturing/quality experience, or a BS in engineering as a substitute for experience.

Qualifications

1-3 years relevant manufacturing and/or quality experience.
AAS in a related discipline is required.
BS degree in an Engineering or related discipline may be used in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed work instructions and visual aids for product assembly.
Interface with production operators and engineering to set product standards and methods for inspection, testing and qualification.
Support the launch of the SMED program.
Assist in tooling and continuous improvement activities.
Work on cost savings projects.
