Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of manufacturing experience or
• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology with 8+ years of manufacturing experience or
• High school diploma with 12+ years in related manufacturing/technical field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and support engineering tests and experiments.
• Operate production equipment to support development and manufacturing activities.
• Perform inspections using microscopes, magnifiers, and other visual tools.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize data for engineering and management review.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing and process-related issues with limited supervision.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures.
• Document findings and update process specifications as required.

In this role, you will work closely with engineers and production personnel to ensure process specifications are followed, data is accurately collected and analyzed, and manufacturing challenges are addressed effectively.

Success in this position requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands‑on manufacturing experience, technical aptitude, and the ability to communicate findings through clear documentation and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and support engineering tests and experiments as directed.
• Operate production equipment as needed to support development and manufacturing activities.
• Perform inspections using microscopes, magnifiers, and other visual inspection tools.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize data for engineering and management review.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing and process‑related issues with limited supervision.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established specifications and procedures.
• Document findings, prepare technical reports, write memos, and update process specifications as required.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve process performance and product quality.
• Report process discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Handle hazardous waste in accordance with applicable safety and environmental procedures, when required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of manufacturing experience; OR
• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or a related technical field with 8+ years of manufacturing experience; OR
• High school diploma or equivalent with 12+ years of experience in a related manufacturing or technical field.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing software.
• Working knowledge of mathematics, including arithmetic, fractions, decimals, powers and roots, algebra, and basic statistics.
• Ability to read and understand technical reports, process specifications, and business correspondence.
• Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation, memos, and procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment and operate production equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
• Experience working in electronics or electronic component manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques and equipment.
• Ability to train others on laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
• Understanding of basic electricity, electronics, and circuit fundamentals.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and troubleshoot production equipment and machinery.
• Experience investigating manufacturing issues and implementing process improvements.
