Job summary

Bel Fuse Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support to production work cells, focusing on quality, productivity, cost reductions, safety, and effective corrective actions. This role develops work instructions, analyzes data, and drives continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with operators and technicians, interpret drawings and standards, and implement actions to optimize yields and manufacturing efficiency, while complying with safety practices.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–5 years manufacturing experience.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions and visual aids for product assembly.
• Interface with production operators and technicians to establish manufacturing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and product qualification.
• Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, customer specifications, and military/industry standards.
• Monitor quality data (yields, defects per million, scrap) and drive corrective actions.
• Lead cost reduction efforts to decrease labor and material costs.
• Document processes to conform to safety practices and regulatory requirements.
