Job summary

Bel Fuse Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Support Technician (On-Site) to help keep production running efficiently.

The role involves developing work instructions and visual aids for assembly, coordinating with operators and engineering to set standards for inspection and testing, and supporting cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualified candidates have 1–3 years of manufacturing/quality experience, or a BS in engineering as a substitute for experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant manufacturing and/or quality experience.
• AAS in a related discipline is required.
• BS degree in an Engineering or related discipline may be used in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions and visual aids for product assembly.
• Interface with production operators and engineering to set product standards and methods for inspection, testing and qualification.
• Support the launch of the SMED program.
• Assist in tooling and continuous improvement activities.
• Work on cost savings projects.

Position Summary :

Join our team as a Manufacturing Support Technician and play a key role in keeping production running efficiently.

Are You Looking To:

• Assist with process improvements.
• Work in jig and fixture design development.
• Assist in Non-Conformance Processing (NCP) and corrective action implementation.

Are You Ready To:

• Assists in the development and maintenance of detailed work instructions and visual aids for product assembly. Implement procedures that ensure continued operational excellence throughout the plant.
• Interfaces with production operators and engineering to establish product standards and methods for inspection, testing, and product qualification.
• Support the launch of SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) program.
• Support tooling and continuous improvement activities.
• Work on cost savings projects.

What You’ll Need:

• AAS in a related discipline is required.
• 1-3 years relevant manufacturing and\or quality experience.
• BS degree in an Engineering or related discipline may be used in lieu of experience.
