Job summary

SunRidge Management Group seeks an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to uphold the physical integrity of multifamily communities. This on-site role supports make-ready tasks, safety compliance, and resident readiness under supervision of the Lead Maintenance Technician.

You will train and mentor maintenance staff, perform basic repairs, and coordinate with management to ensure timely turnover and property standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements and follow directions.
• 40-hour work week; schedule may vary by business needs.
• On-call work may be necessary.
• Wear back-support belt and gloves as required for safety.
• Wear appropriate footwear; flat-bottom sneakers not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete detailed make-ready checklists.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units; remove heavy items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds and deliver notices to residents.
• Coordinate with Senior Maintenance Technician and Property Manager on service needs.
• Prepare apartments for new residents and ensure market-ready condition.
