Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Standby Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. This role requires responding to after-hours calls and living in a company-provided apartment to support residents.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs, with responsibilities for day-to-day maintenance, safety, and customer service. EPA certification is required or obtained within 120 days; multi-family experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-family property maintenance preferred.
• EPA certification required; if not held, must obtain within 120 days of start via company training.
• HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• OSHA knowledge helpful.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the apartment community and adjacent areas per company standards.
• Evaluate and prioritize work orders; respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis.
• Perform plumbing tasks, electrical repairs, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, water heaters, boilers, and related systems.
• Monitor inventory and manage common-area maintenance tasks.
