Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our egg production and processing facility. The role focuses on repairing equipment during both non-production and production times to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring sanitation and safety protocols are followed before resuming production. BPA and safety certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; maintenance certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience in maintenance, especially in food manufacturing/processing, is desirable.
• Safety training such as Confined Space, LOTO, Hazcom, Hot Work, Electrical Safety is expected.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to access and replace defective parts for repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on food processing equipment.
• Document maintenance activities and identify required parts, notifying supervision.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation steps before facility operations.
• Notify appropriate personnel after maintenance is completed.
