Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an egg production and processing facility. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance during non-production and production times to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role requires high school completion, plus maintenance certification or equivalent experience. Electrical knowledge and ability to work independently are valued, with First Aid/CPR certification obtainable. GMP compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; maintenance cert or equivalent experience preferred.
• Electrical knowledge is desirable.
• First Aid/CPR certification must be obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to access defective parts for repairs.
• Maintain food processing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance: motors, bearings, belts, fluids, filters.
• Perform general maintenance incl. plumbing and electrical work.
• Document maintenance performed and notify supervisor.
• Identify required parts and communicate with supervision.
