Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician for Edge Flats in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves completing repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for vacant apartments; working with vendors and maintaining records. You will also help keep common areas clean and safe while supporting cost-control measures.

A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required. The position requires flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday on-call shifts and may involve travel

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on apartment properties.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1/II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance according to policies and safety standards.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track materials and supplies, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests for accurate tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform basic cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by using parts efficiently and avoiding waste.
