Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to uphold building and grounds standards across our properties in Wisconsin. You will diagnose, repair, and service systems, complete make-ready tasks for new residents, and document work orders with strict adherence to safety and policy requirements.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license for potential on-site duties. Competitive pay ranges per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and company bonuses where

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing the defect and making repairs according to safety standards and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, returns items, and notifies the maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing components rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
