Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of semi‑skilled maintenance duties across our Colorado facilities. You will diagnose, repair, install and service equipment while maintaining safety and detailed records.

The role requires collaboration with multiple teams and may involve after‑hours emergency responses. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Maintenance experience preferred, especially in healthcare or hospital settings.
• Basic OSHA safety knowledge and practices.
• Familiarity with tools, equipment and basic machinery used in facilities maintenance.
• Understanding of homelessness issues and trauma-informed care is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and maintain precise records.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled maintenance tasks across commercial facilities, including inspection, troubleshooting and repair.
• Complete work orders timely and maintain detailed logs of actions.
• Coordinate with teammates and departments on assignments.
• Operate hand and power tools and ensure storage areas are organized.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and PPE protocols.
• Assist with site upkeep, snow removal, landscaping, and vehicle operations as needed.
• Respond to emergencies after hours and communicate progress to leadership.
